Configuring an IP Phone to our Business VoIP Service

We support two ways of connecting to our service:

  1. Registration, and

  2. SIP Peering.

If connecting via Registration your handset or phone system requires a UserName (the phone number) and Password to authenticate to our network.

  1. Account Password: You can if you choose to re-use your account password as a global password for all your registered handsets.

  2. Restricted Lines: In Restrict Line you are setting a password against each phone number.

To connect your phone:

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Select your Number.

  3. Select Profile.

  4. Enable “Restricted” (Restricting a line enables you to set a password against a line).

  5. Supply Password (passwords must be a minimum of eight characters, have an upper and lower case character and a number).

  6. Click Save to update settings.
