Grandstream – Configuring your phone

Quick Guide to Grandstream 

On the Grandstream

• Retrieve the phones IP address > select the Settings button (highlighted below)

• Status | Network Status | Ethernet | IPV4 address 

On your PC

• Open your web browser.

   

• In a new tab, type http://[IP address found on the phone] to access the web admin interface

• You will be redirected to the access page

• User and password:"admin". 
• Go to Account Status > Account 1 

Ext tabs

All the main settings required to configure your Grandstream's are accessed within the Ext tabs. Complete:

1. General Setting

• Activate Account: Enable

• Account Name: Can phone and owner name (eg Sally)

• SIP user ID: Phone number

• SIP Auth ID: Phone number

• SIP server: plus.2talk.com

• SIP Auth Password: Password assigned to the number.

How do I assign a password to my number?

• Login to your account.
• Go to the Numbers and Features > Switchboard.
• Select the desired Number >
• Under Profile tab go to Number Settings >
• Turn on Restricted
• Add Password > Save

2. SIP setting (tab) 

• SIP Registration: Enable

• Subscribe Exp: 60 

• SIP Transport: TLS 

• Local SIP port: 5061
